Hi! I'm Michala, Mum of 4 and your Naturopath Nutritionist (BHSc). After having my first baby I felt wildly unprepared for my postpartum recovery. I couldn't figure out how you were meant to make nourishing meals for yourself when you had a baby who wanted to be held 24/7, sleep deprived and no help around. I was also on a heavily restrictive 'colic' diet which was only making my fatigue (and anxiety) worse.
I made a plan with my only goals being nourishment, gf df and as easy as possible. No restriction on how much I ate. For the first time in my life I found healthy eating incredibly easy and not only did my energy improve, lingering health issues with digestion, hormonal acne and stubborn weight disappeared even though that wasn't my focus.
The combination of an anti-inflammatory, nourishing diet that's incredibly easy is the key to a smoother, more enjoyable postpartum. I've been dedicated to all things postpartum health since and have helped other Mums all around the world (and myself through having 3 more kids).
